We are learning specialists, academic interventionists and consultants with advanced degrees, training and certification in research-based learning support and intervention programs. We encourage each student to harness their individual strengths to empower them to become engaged students who value the process of learning.

KRISTIN HEDRICK MORRISON, M.Ed., M.A.
I am an Educational Consultant, Learning Specialist and Academic Counselor. I believe that children learn best when they find connection within an academic environment that understands and acknowledges the unique strengths of each student. I believe that mindful learning takes place when social, emotional and academic progress is encouraged through a whole-child approach to counseling and intervention. Learning how to learn is life's greatest skill, and I love working with parents, teachers and professionals to help each child find success.

Learning Support
We provide individualized learning support to students Preschool thru Grade 8; our consultants work with each child to strengthen academic skills and enrich cognitive capabilities. Academic intervention is based on comprehensive assessment that leads to a goal driven approach for support. Our consultants meet the needs of each student through remediation, reinforcement and enrichment.

Academic Counseling

Developmental Learning Assessments
are used in combination with diagnostic admissions test benchmarks to determine the best schools to consider for each child's individual strengths. After the initial assessments sessions, a personalized Admissions Action Plan is created for each student and parent consultation is offered as needed in combination with
ongoing student support,
test preparation and coaching.
Each student's timeline is individualized so that parents and students feel confident
to trust the process and stay the course.
Academic Therapies
INDIVIDUALIZED + GOAL FOCUSED
Early Intervention and individualized support is utilized to address the needs of each student through proven, research based therapies and strong teaching methods. Our team of experienced
learning specialists have advanced
training in specific remediation programs that address a student's cognitive and
academic struggles through
strength-focused practices.
Learning support is offered on school site or at the office of Mindful Learning.

each child age 3 thru 14.
