We provide individualized learning support to students Preschool thru Grade 8; our consultants work with each child to strengthen academic skills and enrich cognitive capabilities. Academic intervention is based on comprehensive assessment that leads to a goal driven approach for support. Our consultants meet the needs of each student through remediation, reinforcement and enrichment.
We believe that collaboration among parents, teachers, learning specialists and interventionists is a necessary partnership that leads to student success. Academic coaching empowers students to take a mindful approach to their personal educational journey. We encourage each student to engage in the learning process through full engagement, self-advocancy and goal driven action that forges a path for life-long learning.
DISCOVER + PREPARE + STRENGTHEN
Developmental Learning Assessments are used in combination with diagnostic admissions test benchmarks to determine the best schools to consider for each child's individual strengths. After the initial assessments sessions, a personalized Admissions Action Plan is created for each student and parent consultation is offered as needed in combination with ongoing student support, test preparation and coaching. Each student's timeline is individualized so that parents and students feel confident
to trust the process and stay the course.
INDIVIDUALIZED + GOAL FOCUSED
Early Intervention and individualized support is utilized to address the needs of each student through proven, research based therapies and strong teaching methods. Our team of experienced learning specialists have advanced training in specific remediation programs that address a student's cognitive and academic struggles through strength-focused practices.
Learning support is offered on school site or at the office of Mindful Learning.
MOTIVATING + ENGAGING
Specific learning support is offered to encourage stronger executive functioning skills, cognitive abilities, verbal expression and academic skills through a responsive approach that meets the needs of each child age 3 thru 14.
A confident learner is one that understands that study habits and strategies are most effective when they compliment a specific set of cognitive strengths, learning preferences and personal sources for motivation.
